Welcome to The Lennard Surgery Online

At The Lennard Surgery in Bristol the doctors and nurses take pride in offering the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.The practice was founded fifty years ago in Hartcliffe by Dr Michael Lennard and his wife, Dr. Joan Lennard, and moved to the present purpose built premises at Bedminster Down in 1984. The Lennard Surgery serves the area of Bedminster Down, Bishopsworth and other districts within the BS13 postcode area.

We offer a full general practice service and run specialist clinics for children and pregnant women, diabetes and other chronic disease sufferers and for patients needing minor surgery.

*Flu Clinics 2016*

Our main Flu vaccination clinic will be held at HEADLEY PARK CHURCH on

TUESDAY 18th October 2016 9.30am - 7.00pm

In addition, there will be a number of flu clinics running at the surgery during the week and on certain Saturdays from late September, to give flexibility of dates and times for patients.


Influenza flu is a highly infectious and potentially serious illness caused by influenza viruses. Each year the make-up of the seasonal flu vaccine is designed to protect against the influenza viruses that the world health organization decide are most likely to be circulating in the coming winter.

Regular immunisation (vaccination) is given FREE of charge to the following at risk people, to protect them from seasonal flu....

*People aged 65 or over

*People with serious medical condition, such as asthma, diabetes or heart problems, including children.

*Pregnant women

*The main carers for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if the carer becomes ill.

*Healthcare or social care professionals directly involved in patient care.

We are looking for patients to participate in a study sponsored by The University of the West of England.

The aim of the study is to explore ways of improving cooperation and trust between patients and staff of the practice.    

Before you decide to take part, it is important you understand the nature of the research and what it will involve.

If you would like to take part in the study please complete the consent form and drop it in to the surgery by no later than 1st November.
