As we are coming into holiday season, please remember it takes the surgery 3 working days to process your repeat prescription and be sent to your nominated pharmacy.
We recommend you request your medication at least 1 week before your medication is due to run out to avoid any last-minute panics.
There are many ways you can request your medication. 1. You can request your medication through your pharmacy.
2. Patient access (if you are not set up for this please see attached link) https://www.patientaccess.com/
3. NHS App (if you have not set yourself up for this please download the app) Please see attached link for more information. https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/online-services/nhs-log-in/
4. Post your repeat prescription into the black post box at the front of the surgery.
5. If you do not have a repeat prescription slip you can put your request in writing. Please ensure you include your full name, date of birth and address along with the medication you require and post into the black post box at the front of the surgery.
Unfortunately, we DO NOT take medication requests over the phone!
If you are requesting your medication early, please ensure you put the reason why, for example “going on holiday for 2 weeks”.
Any repeat prescriptions that are requested too early and no reason given will be rejected.
Thank you for your co-operation.
